Having thus resolved, that all-pervading Supreme Lord, together with that Śakti, set into motion the nectar-like essence; and on His left side He caused it to operate in the tenth limb (stage) of the creative process.
Suta Goswami (narrating the Rudra Saṃhitā account to the sages at Naimiṣāraṇya)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadyojāta
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: creative
Cosmic Event: Sṛṣṭi-krama: activation of a specific aṅga (tenth stage) via Śakti
It shows that creation is not accidental: the Supreme (Pati/Śiva) consciously wills and, through Śakti, activates the life-giving “nectar-essence” that sustains manifestation—highlighting Shiva as the intelligent cause and Śakti as the operative power.
In Saguna worship, the devotee contemplates Shiva as Pareśvara who, with Śakti, makes the cosmos function. The Liṅga symbolizes this unified reality—Shiva as transcendent consciousness with immanent power—so worship affirms both stillness (Shiva) and dynamism (Śakti).
A simple takeaway is Śiva-Śakti dhyāna while repeating the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), visualizing Shiva as the all-pervading Lord and Śakti as the energizing force that turns divine will into living order.
