देवस्तुतिः—शिवस्य परब्रह्मत्वं, मायाशक्तिः, कर्मफलप्रदातृत्वं च
Devas’ Hymn: Śiva as Parabrahman, Māyā-Śakti, and Giver of Karmic Fruits
प्रकृतः पुरुषस्यापि जगतो योनिबीजयोः । परब्रह्म परस्त्वं च मनोवाचामगोचरः
prakṛtaḥ puruṣasyāpi jagato yonibījayoḥ | parabrahma parastvaṃ ca manovācāmagocaraḥ
You are the very Prakṛti and also the Puruṣa; for the universe, you are both the womb and the seed. You are the Supreme Brahman, the highest Reality, beyond the reach of mind and speech.
Sati (addressing Lord Shiva in praise)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadashiva
It declares Shiva as the supreme Pati—both transcendent (beyond mind and speech) and immanent (present as the causal ground of the universe), guiding the devotee to see liberation as union with the Highest Reality rather than mere worldly attainment.
Though Shiva is said to be beyond thought and words, the Linga serves as a sacred, graspable focus for devotion—honoring the same Parabrahman through a Saguna symbol that leads the mind toward the Nirguna truth.
Meditate on Shiva as both cause and consciousness while repeating the Panchākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya); support the practice with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as aids to steady remembrance of the transcendent Lord.
