FAQs

It affirms that Shiva’s grace sustains dharmic continuity—auspiciousness is not momentary but unfolds steadily “step by step,” indicating enduring merit (puṇya) and stability in life.

In the Shiva Purana, Saguna Shiva (worshiped as the Linga) is the compassionate bestower of boons; this verse reflects the household-facing fruit of such devotion—prosperity and a blessed lineage under Shiva’s protection.

A practical takeaway is steady daily Shiva-upāsanā: japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with simple Linga worship (water/offerings) to cultivate sustained auspiciousness.
