नभोवाणी-दक्ष-निन्दा तथा सती-माहात्म्य-प्रतिपादनम् / The Celestial Voice Rebukes Dakṣa and Proclaims Satī’s Greatness
सा सत्येव सदाराध्या सर्वा पापफलप्रदा । त्रिलोकमाता कल्याणी शंकरार्द्धांगभागिनी
sā satyeva sadārādhyā sarvā pāpaphalapradā | trilokamātā kalyāṇī śaṃkarārddhāṃgabhāginī
She—Satī herself—is ever worthy of worship. She bestows in full the fruits that cleanse away sin. She is the auspicious Mother of the three worlds, Kalyāṇī, and the one who shares half the body of Śaṅkara.
Suta Goswami (narrating the Shiva Purana account to the sages at Naimisharanya)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Ardhanārīśvara
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: liberating
Offering: pushpa
The verse establishes Satī (Śakti) as eternally worship-worthy and as the auspicious Mother whose grace dissolves the karmic weight of sin, pointing to liberation through devotion to the inseparable Śiva–Śakti reality.
In Saguna worship, the Liṅga signifies Śiva as the supreme Pati, while Satī/Śakti is His power (śakti) and compassion; honoring the Liṅga with awareness of Śiva-Śakti unity aligns the devotee with the complete divine principle described here.
A practical takeaway is daily Śiva-pūjā with bhakti—japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) while contemplating Ardhanārīśvara (Śiva with Śakti), and offering reverence to the Divine Mother as Kalyāṇī for purification of past karma.
