Type: stotra
Role: teaching
It proclaims Śiva as Parameśāna—the unsurpassed Pati (Lord) and Mahāyogī—affirming His transcendence over the three worlds and His unique power to grant liberation through grace.
Though Śiva is ultimately beyond comparison (transcendent), devotees approach Him in Saguna form—especially as the Śiva-liṅga—because the same supreme Mahāprabhu becomes accessible to devotion and worship.
A practical takeaway is Śiva-smaraṇa (remembrance) with japa of the Pañcākṣarī—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—and meditation on Śiva as Mahāyogī, the inner Lord who rules the three worlds.
