सतीचरिते पितृगृहे आशीर्वाद-वचनम् तथा यौवनारम्भः — Satī at her father’s house: blessings and the onset of youth
योगरंधितकर्माणो यं प्रपश्यन्ति योगिनः । योगसंभाविते चित्ते योगेशं त्वां नता वयम्
yogaraṃdhitakarmāṇo yaṃ prapaśyanti yoginaḥ | yogasaṃbhāvite citte yogeśaṃ tvāṃ natā vayam
We bow to You, the Lord of Yoga—You whom yogins, having restrained karmic activity through yoga, directly behold within a mind made pure and steady by yogic contemplation.
Sati (addressing Lord Shiva)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Mantra: योगरंधितकर्माणो यं प्रपश्यन्ति योगिनः । योगसंभाविते चित्ते योगेशं त्वां नता वयम्
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: teaching
It teaches that Shiva (Pati) is realized not merely by external rites but by inner purification: when karma-driven restlessness is restrained and the mind is stabilized through yoga, the yogin gains direct vision of Yogeshvara, culminating in surrender and liberation-oriented devotion.
While Saguna worship (including Linga-puja) supports concentration and grace, this verse highlights its inner completion: the same Shiva worshipped outwardly is beheld inwardly as Yogeshvara when the mind becomes yoga-purified—showing harmony between external devotion and internal realization.
Meditative discipline is primary: restraining actions and senses, cultivating steady dhyana, and offering namaskara (surrender). Practically, one may pair daily Shiva-japa (e.g., Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with breath-led concentration to purify the citta and orient it toward Shiva.
