It shows that sincere stuti (devotional praise) to Śiva-Śakti—here Maheśānī—purifies the mind (prasanna-manas) and restores divine harmony, after which beings return to their rightful duties and abodes.
Though the verse praises Maheśānī, it reflects Saguna worship in the Shiva Purana: honoring Śakti is inseparable from honoring Śiva, and such devotion supports auspiciousness and steadiness of mind that underlies all forms of Śaiva worship, including Liṅga-pūjā.
A practical takeaway is stotra-japa and heartfelt praise (stuti) offered with a calm mind; it complements common Śaiva practice like chanting the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and concluding worship by returning to one’s duties with inner serenity.
