It declares Shiva (Pati) as the sole source of true auspiciousness and supreme bliss; worldly happiness is derivative, and without Shiva’s grace nothing has lasting radiance in any realm.
By affirming that all beauty and fulfillment depend on Him, the verse supports Saguna worship—seeing Shiva present and accessible through the Linga as the luminous center of devotion and grace.
Single-pointed remembrance of Shiva—japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with bhakti; optionally supported by Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrāksha as Shaiva aids to steady devotion.
