The verse presents Pārvatī as Śiva’s Śakti—both immanent (vyāpinī, all-pervading) and compassionate (bhaktavatsalā). In a Shaiva Siddhānta lens, it highlights divine grace (anugraha) that removes sorrow and supports the devotee’s movement toward liberation.
Calling her ‘Śivapriyā’ and ‘Maheśānī’ ties her inseparably to Śiva’s saguna form worshipped as the Liṅga. Devotees approach Śiva with Śakti—through reverence, mantra, and pūjā—recognizing that grace flows through their united reality.
A practical takeaway is devotional japa and stuti: recite the verse as a praise to Devī before Liṅga-pūjā, along with Panchākṣarī japa (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) to cultivate bhakti and seek the removal of inner sorrow.
