Then, at the brāhmaṇa’s command, the two sat together upon a single seat (āsana). They attained a supreme radiance that brought gladness to the hearts of devotees.

It highlights that when Shiva and Parvati are approached with sincere bhakti and proper dharmic guidance, their presence manifests as “paramā śobhā”—a transformative divine radiance that uplifts the devotee’s heart toward grace (anugraha) and liberation-oriented devotion.
The verse emphasizes Saguna darśana—Shiva’s approachable, grace-giving form—where the devotee experiences joy and auspiciousness. In Linga worship, the same principle applies: reverent instruction and devotion culminate in an inner perception of Shiva’s splendor and blessing.
It suggests disciplined devotion under right instruction: perform worship with a steady, unified seat (āsana) and a focused mind, accompanied by mantra-japa such as the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” cultivating a bhakta-citta that becomes receptive to Shiva’s grace.
