At the close of the Kali age, all your limbs shall be severed. But when the Satya age returns again, you shall become whole and complete once more.

Cosmic Event: End of Kali (yuga-sandhyā) followed by return of Satya (yuga renewal)
It teaches that the decay of dharma in Kali-yuga brings fragmentation and suffering, yet time is cyclical and restoration comes with Satya-yuga—signaling Shiva’s governance over cosmic order and the eventual re-integration of what is broken.
In Kali-yuga, devotees rely on Saguna Shiva—especially Linga worship—as a stable refuge when worldly supports fail; the verse underscores that even amid decline, Shiva remains the sustaining Pati who restores wholeness in the proper cosmic season.
Kali-yuga remedies emphasized in Shaiva practice include steady Linga-pūjā, japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and wearing Rudrākṣa with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) to cultivate protection, purity, and inner steadiness.
