पार्वतीवाक्यं—शिवस्य परब्रह्मत्व-निरूपणम्

मया परीक्षितासि त्वं बहुधा दृढमानसे । तत्क्षमस्वापराधम्मे लोकलीलानुसारिणः
mayā parīkṣitāsi tvaṃ bahudhā dṛḍhamānase | tatkṣamasvāparādhamme lokalīlānusāriṇaḥ

Shiva’s request for forgiveness reveals Saguna Shiva’s intimate, personal relationship with the devotee—Linga worship likewise emphasizes surrender, patience, and trust in the Lord’s compassionate governance behind worldly appearances.
Practice kṣamā-bhāvanā (cultivating forgiveness) and steadiness in japa—especially the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—treating obstacles as occasions to deepen bhakti rather than weaken it.
