O Great Lord, in this entire world created by You, surely there is no man at all who could be as powerful as I am.
Pārvatī (addressing Lord Śiva / Mahādeva)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
The verse highlights how power and status arise within the created order, yet the ultimate source is Mahādeva; in Shaiva thought, true spiritual maturity is to recognize that all capacities are dependent on Pati (Śiva) and should culminate in surrender rather than pride.
By addressing Śiva as the creator of the entire world, the verse supports Saguna devotion—worshiping Śiva as the personal Lord (Mahāprabhu) who manifests and governs creation; Linga worship similarly centers on this supreme Lord as the ground and sign of all manifestation.
A practical takeaway is to pair one’s strength or achievements with Śiva-arpaṇa (offering of results to Śiva), supported by daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” cultivating humility and devotion.
