इति दुःखं समापन्नाश्शक्राद्या मुनयस्सुराः । नारदं च समाहूय पप्रच्छुर्विकलास्तदा
iti duḥkhaṃ samāpannāśśakrādyā munayassurāḥ | nāradaṃ ca samāhūya papracchurvikalāstadā
Thus, Indra and the other gods, along with the sages, were overcome with sorrow. In their distress, they summoned Nārada and questioned him then.

The takeaway is to respond to turmoil with śaraṇāgati (seeking refuge) and japa—especially the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—while approaching a competent guide (guru-like counsel, here symbolized by Nārada).
