Kāmarūpeśvara’s Trial and Śiva’s Hidden Protection (कামरूपेश्वर-रक्षा-प्रसङ्गः)

Then, by Lord Śiva’s compassion, the great sages attained peace. All the gods—beginning with Śakra (Indra)—were restored to well-being, and the entire world likewise regained wholeness and stability.

It teaches that śānti (inner and outer peace) arises through Śiva’s anugraha (grace): when the Pati (Lord) is pleased, the pashu (souls) and the cosmos are pacified, and disorder is naturally healed.
The verse highlights Saguna Śiva’s compassionate, world-sustaining role—often approached through Liṅga worship and Jyotirliṅga pilgrimage—where devotion and surrender invite Śiva’s restoring grace upon devotees and society.
A practical takeaway is daily Śiva-upāsanā for śānti—japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), offering water to the Liṅga, and applying Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) as a reminder to seek Śiva’s grace for steadiness and well-being.
