All the Śiva-liṅgas that manifested in the eastern direction—as well as the other commonly known liṅgas—have been described to you here.

Sthala Purana: A structural/narrative verse concluding the description of eastern-direction manifested liṅgas and indicating completion of that section.
Significance: Frames tīrtha-māhātmya as a map of grace: direction-wise manifestation underscores Śiva’s pervasion and accessibility through liṅga worship.
The verse emphasizes Śiva’s compassionate accessibility: His liṅgas manifest across the world (here, the eastern quarter) so devotees can approach Pati (Śiva) through visible, consecrated forms, supporting devotion (bhakti) and liberation-oriented worship.
It frames the liṅga as Saguna support for worship—an embodied focus through which the devotee reveres the transcendent Śiva. By cataloging liṅgas, the Purāṇa guides devotees toward concrete sites and forms for liṅga-pūjā and pilgrimage.
A practical takeaway is liṅga-pūjā at known shrines: offer water, bilva leaves, and recite the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” using the liṅga as the meditative center for steadiness and Śiva-remembrance.
