Sannyāsa Maṇḍala Vidhi—Procedure for the Renunciate Mandala
नैरृताद्यन्तु विज्ञेयमाग्नेयावधि चेश्वरि । वारुणं तु समारभ्य दक्षिणावधि चेरितम
nairṛtādyantu vijñeyamāgneyāvadhi ceśvari | vāruṇaṃ tu samārabhya dakṣiṇāvadhi ceritama
O Goddess, know that the boundary begins from the south‑west (Nairṛta) and extends up to the south‑east (Āgneya). And beginning from the western quarter (Vāruṇa), it is described as extending to the southern limit.

In Saguna Shiva worship, the Linga is approached through precise ritual orientation and delineation of the worship area; this verse supports correct directional understanding so the devotee’s external worship aligns with dharma and inner steadiness.
Establish the worship space with clear directional awareness before puja—then perform Linga-archana with Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), applying Tripuṇḍra and maintaining a steady, south-facing or east-facing posture as prescribed by one’s tradition.
