It teaches that outer daily rites (Sandhyā, Agni and Sūrya worship) become spiritually fruitful when anchored in inner realization—abidance in the Self described as the non-dual abode—aligning disciplined practice with liberation-oriented awareness.
In Shaiva understanding, orderly Vedic worship supports purity and steadiness of mind; such steadiness matures into devotion and contemplation that can culminate in Linga worship (Saguna) and, ultimately, recognition of Shiva as the inner Self beyond duality (Nirguna/Advaita-dhāman).
Perform the morning Sandhyā with reverence—beginning with honoring Agni and then worshipping the Sun—while simultaneously practicing inward meditation by resting awareness in the Self as the non-dual ground.
