राजा सिन्धूनामवसिष्ट वास ऋतस्य नावमारुहद्रजिष्ठाम् । अप्सु द्रप्सो वावृधे श्येनजूतो दुह ईं पिता दुह ईं पितुर्जाम् ॥
rājā́ síndhūnām avasiṣṭa vā́sa ṛtásya nā́vam ā́ruhad rájiṣṭhām | apsú drapsó vāvṛdhe śyená-jūto dúha īm pitā́ dúha īm pitúr jām ||
King of the rivers, O Vasiṣṭha, he has put on his vesture; he has mounted the swiftest boat of ṛta. In the waters the drop has grown, driven by the falcon-force; the Father milks him forth, and he milks forth the kinship of the Father.
