Sukta 9.89
प्रो स्य वह्निः पथ्याभिरस्यान्दिवो न वृष्टिः पवमानो अक्षाः । सहस्रधारो असदन्न्यस्मे मातुरुपस्थे वन आ च सोमः ॥
pró syá vaḥníḥ pathyā́bhir asyān divó na vṛṣṭíḥ pávamāno akṣāḥ | sahásra-dhāro ásadann y àsmé mā́tur upásthe vána ā́ ca sómaḥ ||
Forward he moves, the carrier of the flame-force, along the rightful paths; like the rain from heaven the purifying one streams out. Thousand-streamed, Soma settles down within us, in the mother’s lap, in the forest-growth, and comes to our field of being.
