Sukta 8.47
परिह्वृतेदना जनो युष्मादत्तस्य वायति । देवा अदभ्रमाश वो यमादित्या अहेतनानेहसो व ऊतयः सुतयो व ऊतयः ॥
प॒रि॒ह्वृ॒तेद॒ना जनो॑ यु॒ष्माद॑त्तस्य वायति । देवा॒ अद॑भ्रमाश वो॒ यमा॑दित्या॒ अहे॑तनाने॒हसो॑ व ऊ॒तय॑: सु॒तयो॑ व ऊ॒तय॑: ॥
pari-hvṛtédanā jano yuṣmā́dattasya vāyati | devā́ adábhram ā́śa vo yám ādityā́ ahetanānehasaḥ vo ūtáyaḥ su-ūtáyaḥ vo ūtáyaḥ ||
When the human being is pressed on every side and feels diminished, he still seeks the force that is given by you. O Gods, the unfailing hope that you have set in us—O Ādityas—may it not be shaken; may your help, your good help, be with us, free from harm.
