मा नो अरातिरीशत देवस्य मर्त्यस्य च । पर्षि तस्या उत द्विषः ॥

मा नो॒ अरा॑तिरीशत दे॒वस्य॒ मर्त्य॑स्य च । पर्षि॒ तस्या॑ उ॒त द्वि॒षः ॥
Transliteration
mā́ no arā́tir īśata devásya mártyasya ca | párṣi tásyā uta dvíṣaḥ ||
Translation
Let not the hostile power of want and wrong mastery rule over us—whether from godly forces or from mortal beings; cross us beyond that, and beyond the haters as well.
