Shloka 6.92.25

युद्धकाण्डे द्विनवतितमः सर्गः — Indrajit’s Fall, Rama’s Embrace, and Sushena’s Battlefield Healing

विभीषणमुखानां च सुहृदांराघवाज्नाया ।।।।सर्ववानरमुख्यानांचिकित्सामकरोत्तदा ।

tato rāmam abhikramya saumitrir abhivādya ca |

tasthau bhrātṛ-samīpasthaḥ śakrasya indrānujo yathā ||

Then Saumitri approached Rāma, paid his reverent salutations, and stood close by his brother—like Upendra standing beside Śakra (Indra).

Then by Rama's order Vibheeshana and other friends and all Vanara leaders were healed.

Dharma is expressed as maryādā (proper conduct): even after great deeds, Lakṣmaṇa approaches with humility and respect, honoring rightful leadership and familial duty.

Lakṣmaṇa comes to Rāma after the battle developments and formally salutes him, remaining at his side.

Humility and loyal brotherhood—Lakṣmaṇa’s reverent posture toward Rāma despite being a principal warrior.
