निकुम्भिला-यज्ञविघ्नोपदेशः (Counsel to Disrupt the Nikumbhilā Rite)
विभीषणमुखंदृष्टवासुग्रीवंतांश्चवानरान् ।लक्ष्मणोवाचमन्दार्थमिदंबाष्पपरिप्लुतः ।।।।
sat-sandiśa mahābāho lakṣmaṇaṃ śubhalakṣaṇam |
rākṣasasya vināśāya vajraṃ vajradharo yathā ||
“O mighty-armed one, send forth Lakṣmaṇa of auspicious marks for the destruction of that rākṣasa—just as the wielder of the thunderbolt casts the vajra.”
Lakshmana looking at Sugriva's face and also at the Vanaras, his eyes bathed in tears spoke in a dull tone.
