Filled with joy, the Vānaras set fire to the city gates, watchtowers, main streets, diverse pathways, and even the palaces and mansions.
Rejoiced Vanaras set fire to the towering gates, attics, different streets as well as mansions to send away Rakshasas.
The Vanaras targeted the Gopuras (city gates), Attas (watchtowers/attics), Pratolis (main streets), Caryas (pathways), and Prasadas (mansions/palaces).
The term 'samhrishta' means 'rejoiced' or 'joyful', indicating the Vanaras were enthusiastic and high-spirited while destroying the enemy's city infrastructure.
