औषधिपर्वताहरणम् / The Retrieval of the Herb-Bearing Mountain
ततोमहात्मानिपपाततस्मिन् शैलोत्तमेवानरसैन्यमथ्ये ।हर्युत्तमेभ्यशशिरसाऽभिवाद्यविभीषणंतत्र स सस्वजे च ।।6.74.72।।
tato mahātmā nipapāta tasmin śailottame vānarasainya-madhye |
haryuttamebhyaḥ śirasā’bhivādya vibhīṣaṇaṃ tatra sa sasvaje ca ||6.74.72||
Then that great-souled one descended there with the foremost mountain into the midst of the Vānara host; bowing his head, he greeted the best of the Vānaras, and there he embraced Vibhīṣaṇa.
The great Hanuman along with the mountain descended in the midst of the Vanara army, and greeted the army head bent down and embraced Vibheeshana standing there.
Dharma includes humility and respect: even the mighty bow to comrades and honor righteous allies, reinforcing ethical bonds within a just cause.
Hanumān lands among the Vānara forces with the herb-mountain, salutes the leaders, and warmly embraces Vibhīṣaṇa.
Humility joined to heroism—strength without pride, expressed through reverence and affectionate solidarity.
