अतिकायवधश्रवणं रावणस्य लङ्कारक्षाविधानम् (Ravana’s Reaction to Atikaya’s Death and the Fortification Orders for Lanka)
येयोधानिर्गताश्शूराराक्षसाममशासनात् ।।।।तेसर्वेनिहतायुद्धेवानरैस्सुमहाबलैः ।
ye yodhā nirgātāḥ śūrā rākṣasā mama śāsanāt | te sarve nihatā yuddhe vānaraiḥ sumahābalaiḥ |
All those heroic Rākṣasas who marched out to battle at my command have, every one of them, been slain in the fight by the exceedingly mighty Vānara warriors.
" All those heroes who have gone by my order for combat, have been killed in the battle by mighty Vanaras."
A ruler bears moral responsibility for commands given; when orders serve adharma, the resulting destruction returns upon his own side.
The speaker admits that the warriors he dispatched under royal orders have been killed by the Vānara forces allied with Rāma.
The Vānara army’s collective valor and disciplined strength in service of a righteous alliance.
