Thereafter Suparṇa (Garuḍa), touching and honoring the two scions of the Kakutstha line, gently wiped with his hands their faces, radiant as the moon.
Caressed by Garuda, both their bodies were cleared of wounds instantly shone like gold and turned bright.
Respect for the righteous: even a mighty divine being honors dharmic persons, showing that true greatness includes humility and reverence.
After freeing them, Garuḍa greets Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa respectfully and tends to them with care.
Humility and service (seva-bhāva) expressed through respectful touch and gentle care.
