सुपर्णागमनम् (Garuda’s Arrival and the Release from the Serpent-Arrow Bond)

ततस्सुपर्णःकाकुत्स्थौस्पृष्टवाप्रत्यभिनदनितः ।विममर्शचपाणिभ्यांमुखेचन्द्रसमप्रभे ।।6.50.38।।

Transliteration

tam āgatam abhiprekṣya nāgās te sampradudruvuḥ |

yais tau satpuruṣau baddhau śarabhūtair mahābalau ||6.50.37||

Translation

Seeing him arrive, those serpents fled—the very ones who, as arrows, had bound the two mighty and noble men.

Context

Thereafter Garuda paying his respects to the noble Rama and Lakshmana, touching their feet, wiped their face which shone like the moon.
