Under Nīla’s command, the army was set in good order with its own watch established, and the camp was duly made on the ocean’s northern shore.
Nila settled the army successfully by making them reside on the northern shore of the sea, as per tradition.
Righteous action includes correct procedure (“vidhivat”)—doing the right thing in the right way, especially when many lives depend on leadership.
The army is settled at the seashore in an organized manner, indicating readiness for the coming confrontation with Laṅkā.
Orderliness and reliability in command.
