युद्धलक्षण-निमित्तदर्शनं तथा लङ्काद्वारव्यूहः (War Omens and the Encirclement of Lanka’s Gates)

आवृतस्सगिरिस्सर्वैस्सैस्समन्तात् प्लवङ्गमैः ।।6.41.52।।अयुतानांसहस्रंचपुरींतामभ्यवर्तत ।

Transliteration

vānarair balavadbhiś ca babhūva drumapāṇibhiḥ | saṃvṛtā sarvato laṅkā duṣpraveśā 'pi vāyunā ||6.41.53||

Translation

Laṅkā was enclosed on every side by mighty Vānaras with trees in their hands—so tightly sealed that even the wind would find entry difficult.
