Shloka 6.41.37

युद्धलक्षण-निमित्तदर्शनं तथा लङ्काद्वारव्यूहः (War Omens and the Encirclement of Lanka’s Gates)

विन्यस्तानिचयोधानांबहूनिविविधानिच ।ददर्शाऽयुधजालानितत्रैवकवचानिच ।।6.41.37।।

uttaradvāram āsādya yatra tiṣṭhati rāvaṇaḥ |

nānyo rāmād dhi tad dvāraṃ samarthaḥ parirakṣitum || 6.41.35 ||

Reaching the northern gate—where Rāvaṇa was stationed—it was understood that none but Rāma was capable of securing and holding that gateway.

Rama Saw there, numerous weapons of every kind so also shields for the combatants of war.
