Shloka 6.41.33

युद्धलक्षण-निमित्तदर्शनं तथा लङ्काद्वारव्यूहः (War Omens and the Encirclement of Lanka’s Gates)

लङ्कायास्तूत्तरंद्वारंशैलशृङ्गमिवोन्नतम् ।रामःसहानुजोधन्वीजुगोपचरुरोधच ।।6.41.33।।

laṅkāyās tūttaraṁ dvāraṁ śaila-śṛṅgam ivonnatam |

rāmaḥ sahānujo dhanvī jugopa ca rurodha ca ||6.41.33||

Rāma, bow in hand and accompanied by his younger brother, secured and blocked Laṅkā’s northern gate, towering like a mountain peak.

Accompanied by his brother Lakshmana, Rama, armed with bow, blocked the northern gate of Lanka which was like a lofty mountain peak and protected.
