सरमायाḥ सीतासान्त्वनम् तथा रावणनिश्चयश्रवणम् (Saarana Consoles Sita and Reports Ravana’s Resolve)
एतस्मिन्नन्तरेशब्दोभेरीशङ्खसमाकुलः ।।।।श्रुतोवानरसैन्यानांकम्पयन् धरणीतलम् ।
na hi me kramamāṇāyāḥ nirālambe vihāyasi |
samartho gatim anvetuṃ pavano garuḍo 'pi vā ||
For as I move through the sky without any support, neither the Wind-god nor even Garuḍa would be able to keep pace with my course.
In the meantime (while Saarana was telling Sita) the sounds of drums and conchs combined with the clamour of Vanara troops was heard and it was as though the surface of the earth was shaking.
Dharma here is competence used in service of the righteous: extraordinary ability is presented as a means to fulfill a morally aligned mission (helping Sītā and informing Rāma).
Saramā reassures Sītā about her ability to travel swiftly and secretly, beyond pursuit.
Confidence and capability (vīrya): Saramā asserts her power to act effectively for Sītā’s cause.
