मायाशिरोप्रदर्शनम् (The Display of the Illusory Head of Rāma)

मन्त्रिणश्शीघ्रमायान्तुसर्वेवैसुसमाहिताः ।अयंनोमन्त्रकालोहिसम्प्रप्ताइतिराक्षसाः ।।।।

anutiṣṭhati medinyāṃ panasaḥ panaso yathā | nārācair bahubhiś chinnaḥ śete daryāṃ darīmukhaḥ | kumudas tu mahātejā niṣkūjan sāyakaiḥ kṛtaḥ ||

Panasa lies upon the earth like a fallen jackfruit tree; Darīmukha lies on the ground, shattered by many steel-pointed arrows; and Kumuda, though radiant in might, has been torn open by shafts and lies silent.

"The time has come for us to call for all the rakshasas and ministers immediately and assemble (said Ravana)."

The suffering described highlights why dharma values restraint and truth; war narratives should not become instruments of deception or cruelty.

More vānara leaders are named as fallen, reinforcing a claim of sweeping rākṣasa victory.

Steadfast service—these vānara warriors are portrayed as major supporters of Rāma’s righteous cause, enduring severe harm.
