एषांवानरमुख्यानांकेशूराःकेमहाबलाः ।केपूर्वमभिवर्तन्तेमहोत्साहास्समन्ततः ।।।।

Transliteration

eṣāṃ vānara-mukhyānāṃ ke śūrāḥ ke mahā-balāḥ | ke pūrvam abhivartante mahotsāhāḥ samantataḥ ||

Translation

Among these foremost Vānara leaders, who are the truly valiant—who the great in strength and highest in ardour? And who among them can be named as peers to those proven earlier in battle? Tell me in proper order.
