भरद्वाजाश्रम-समागमः / Meeting Bharadvaja at the Hermitage (Homeward Blessings)
एवमुक्तस्तु रामेण भरद्वाजो महामुनिः ॥6.127.3॥
प्रत्युवाच रघुश्रेष्ठं स्मितपूर्वं प्रहृष्टवत् ।
evam uktaḥ tu rāmeṇa bharadvājo mahāmuniḥ || 6.127.3 ||
pratyuvāca raghuśreṣṭhaṃ smita-pūrvaṃ prahṛṣṭa-vat |
Thus addressed by Rāma, the great sage Bharadvāja—delighted—replied to the best of the Raghus with a smile.
Dharma is shown through courteous dialogue and reverence: the meeting of a righteous king and a sage models respectful, truth-aligned communication.
Rāma speaks to Bharadvāja; the sage, pleased, begins his response—setting up guidance and blessings for Rāma’s return.
Bharadvāja’s prasāda (gracious goodwill) and Rāma’s conduct worthy of a sage’s joy—mutual respect grounded in dharma.
