एतेहितापसावासादृश्यन्तेतनुमध्यमे ।अत्रिःकुलपतिर्यत्रसूर्यवैश्वानरोपमः ।।।।

Transliteration

asmin deśe mahākāyo virādho nihato mayā | atra sīte tvayā dṛṣṭā tāpasī dharmacāriṇī ||

Translation

In this land I slew the mighty, gigantic Virādha; and here, O Sītā, you beheld the ascetic woman, steadfast in austerity and living by Dharma.
