Maithilī, there is seen the lovely Yamunā with its wondrous forests; and here too is seen the splendid hermitage of Bharadvāja.

"In these countries was a Rakshasa, called Viradha of gigantic size who was killed by me. There is an ascetic woman Anasuya practicing virtues whom you saw."

Dharma is sustained through the sage-community (āśrama culture): learning, refuge, and right conduct are preserved in such sanctuaries.

Rāma marks the Yamunā region and Bharadvāja’s hermitage, recalling the route and supports encountered in exile.

Gratitude and remembrance—recognizing those who uphold dharma through teaching and hospitality.
