कर्तव्यो न तुवैदेहीमन्युस्त्यागमिमंप्रति ।रामेणेत्वद्विशुध्यर्थंकृतमेतद्धितैषिणा ।।।।

Transliteration

kartavyo na tu vaidehī manyus tyāgam imaṃ prati | rāmeṇa etad-viśuddhy-arthaṃ kṛtam etad hitaiṣiṇā ||

Translation

O Vaidehī, do not harbor resentment over this seeming abandonment; Rāma, seeking your welfare, did this to establish the purity of your name.

"In the event of Rama abandoning you, resentment should not be shown in this way. It is your duty to endure. Rama himself has done this to prove your purity."
