दशरथदर्शनम् — Dasharatha’s Epiphany and Benedictions (Sarga 122)
धर्मंप्राप्स्यसिधर्मज्ञ यशश्चविपुलंभुवि ।रामेप्रसन्नेस्वर्गं च महिमानंतथोत्तमाम् ।।।।
dharmaṃ prāpsyasi dharmajña yaśaś ca vipulaṃ bhuvi | rāme prasanne svargaṃ ca mahimānaṃ tathottamam ||
O knower of dharma, you will attain dharma and broad fame upon the earth; and when Rāma is pleased, you will gain heaven as well, along with the highest glory.
"O knower of dharma! If Rama is pleased, extensive fame as well as heaven and supreme glory will be attained on this earth."
Right conduct brings both worldly honor (yaśas) and transcendent fruit (svarga); divine approval here is framed as Rāma’s satisfaction with dharmic service.
Daśaratha continues blessing/praising Lakṣmaṇa, describing the rewards that follow from dharmic service and Rāma’s pleased disposition.
Dharma-jñatā and steadfast fidelity—knowing and practicing duty so thoroughly that it earns both fame and spiritual reward.
