Shloka 6.120.28

रामस्तवः — ब्रह्मणा रामस्य नारायणत्वप्रकाशनम् (Rama-Stava: Brahma Reveals Rama’s Nārāyaṇa Identity)

सीतालक्ष्मीर्भवान् विष्णुर्देवःकृष्णःप्रजापतिः ।।।।वधार्थंरावणस्येहप्रविष्टोमानुषींतनुम् ।

sītā lakṣmīr bhavān viṣṇur devaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ prajāpatiḥ | vadhārthaṃ rāvaṇasyeha praviṣṭo mānuṣīṃ tanum ||

Sītā is Lakṣmī, and You are Viṣṇu—indeed the divine Kṛṣṇa, Lord of all creatures. For the slaying of Rāvaṇa, You entered here in a human body.

"Sita is goddess Lakshmi while you are Vishnu. You are Krishna. You are the Lord of created beings. In order to put an end to Ravana, you entered the mortal body on earth."

When adharma becomes oppressive, the highest protection of dharma may require deliberate intervention for the welfare of beings.

Compassionate responsibility—accepting limitation (human form) to accomplish protection of the world.
