Hearing Rāghava’s words, Vibhīṣaṇa—knower of dharma—at once had the place there cleared.
On hearing Raghava's words, faithful Vibheeshana instantly assigned people to disperse from there.
Dharma here is disciplined governance: a righteous leader’s instruction is carried out promptly to maintain order and propriety, especially in sensitive moments.
After Rāma gives an instruction, Vibhīṣaṇa immediately arranges for the area to be cleared, setting the stage for the next event involving Sītā.
Vibhīṣaṇa’s obedience and dharma-minded administrative competence—swift, orderly action aligned with righteous intent.
