“Here, at the command of the rākṣasa-lord, the rākṣasīs used to threaten me. Now that he has been slain, O son of the Wind, they will not threaten me any longer.”
"By Ravana's order they threatened me so. Now with his death, they will not be threatening me."
Moral discernment about responsibility: Sītā distinguishes between the coercer (Rāvaṇa) and those acting under orders, supporting a dharmic view of proportional blame.
Sītā explains to Hanumān that the rākṣasīs’ harassment was due to Rāvaṇa’s command and will cease after his death.
Satya (truthfulness) and clarity—Sītā reports the situation without exaggeration and frames it ethically.
