Shloka 6.115.12

विभीषणाभिषेकः (Vibhīṣaṇa’s Consecration) and Hanumān’s Commission to Sītā

तम्घटंवानरेन्द्राणांहस्तेदत्त्वामनोजवान् ।।।।व्यादिदेशमहासत्त्व: समुद्रसलिलंतदा ।

taṃ ghaṭaṃ vānarendrāṇāṃ haste dattvā manojavān | vyādideśa mahāsattvaḥ samudra-salilaṃ tadā ||

Then the mighty Lakṣmaṇa placed that vessel into the hand of the swift Vānara leader and instructed him to bring water from the ocean.

Commanded like that, Lakshmana, endowed with mighty prowess placed that vessel in the hands of Vanara chief, who was endowed with the speed of the mind, to get water from the ocean.

Lakṣmaṇa hands the vessel to a swift Vanara chief and orders him to fetch ocean-water required for Vibhīṣaṇa’s consecration.

Lakṣmaṇa’s competence and steadiness in executing a righteous public duty.
