रामरावणयोर्युद्धवैषम्यं तथा रावणशिरश्छेदनम् (Rama–Ravana Duel Intensifies; Ravana’s Heads Severed and Reappear)
क्षुब्दानांसागराणां च पातालतलवासिनः ।व्यथितादानवाःसर्वेपन्नगाश्चसहस्रशः ।।।।
kṣubdhānāṃ sāgarāṇāṃ ca pātālatala-vāsinaḥ |
vyathitā dānavāḥ sarve pannagāś ca sahasraśaḥ ||
As the seas churned, the beings dwelling in the nether regions of Pātāla were distressed—every Dānava, and serpents by the thousands.
By the agitation and sounds in the seas, all the Danavas and snakes in thousands inhabiting the seas got distressed.
Dharma is portrayed as a stabilizing order: when it is violently contested, even distant realms feel the shock—teaching that moral disorder has wide-ranging consequences.
The oceanic upheaval spreads fear to netherworld inhabitants—Dānavas and serpents.
