रावणशूलप्रक्षेपः — Ravana Hurls the Trident; Rama Counters with Indra’s Javelin
खराश्चखरनिर्घोषागगनेपरुषाघनाः ।औत्पातिकानिनर्दन्तस्समन्तात्परिचक्रमुः ।।।।
rāmaṃ dṛṣṭvā susaṅkruddham utpātāṃś caiva sudāruṇān |
vitresuḥ sarva-bhūtāni rāvaṇasyābhavad bhayam ||
Seeing Rāma blazing with fury—and the dreadful portents as well—all beings trembled; fear arose even in Rāvaṇa.
Dreadful and portentous clouds went in circles all over sky looking like donkeys emitting harsh sounds.
Dharma is shown as a moral force that inspires awe: when righteousness is resolute, even the powerful who stand in adharma experience fear and instability.
The duel escalates; Rāma’s fierce resolve and the appearance of portents cause widespread trembling, and even Rāvaṇa senses danger.
Rāma’s steadfast determination in upholding justice—his controlled, purposeful wrath directed toward restoring dharma.
