Shloka 5.67.33

अभिज्ञानवृत्तान्त-प्रत्यायनम् (Token of Recognition and the Crow–Brahmāstra Episode)

अश्रुपूर्णमुखी दीना बाष्पसन्दिग्धभाषिणी।।।।ममोत्पतनसम्भ्रान्ता शोकवेगसमाहता।

aśrupūrṇamukhī dīnā bāṣpasandigdhabhāṣiṇī |

mamotpatana-sambhrāntā śokavega-samāhatā ||

Her face was filled with tears; she was downcast, and her words were blurred by sobs. Disturbed by my imminent flight, she was overwhelmed by the surge of grief.

"She was dejected. Her face was filled with tears. Despondent at my departure, she shed tears profusely and said:

Dharma includes steadfastness under suffering: even when grief overwhelms, Sītā continues to act rightly by communicating truthfully and responsibly.

Sītā, distressed at Hanumān’s departure, struggles through tears as she prepares to send her message to Rāma.

Sītā’s endurance and sincerity—her emotions are intense, yet her intent remains focused on duty and truth.
