अभिज्ञानवृत्तान्त-प्रत्यायनम् (Token of Recognition and the Crow–Brahmāstra Episode)
हनुमन् सिंहसंकाशावुभौ तौ रामलक्ष्मणौ।।।।सुग्रीवञ्च सहामात्यं सर्वान् ब्रूया ह्यनामयम्।
hanuman siṃha-saṃkāśāv ubhau tau rāma-lakṣmaṇau |
sugrīvaṃ ca sahāmātyaṃ sarvān brūyā hy anāmayam ||
“O Hanumān, tell those two lion-like heroes, Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa, and Sugrīva with his ministers—indeed all of them—that I am well and unharmed.”
'Hanuman! tell both Rama and Lakshman who are like two lions, Sugriva and his ministers about my welfare.
Truthful communication and responsible reassurance: Sītā instructs the messenger to convey her welfare accurately to sustain righteous effort and morale.
Sītā formally entrusts Hanumān with a message to Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa, and Sugrīva’s court, confirming she remains alive and holding on.
Sītā’s presence of mind and concern for others’ burden; Hanumān’s role as a faithful envoy.
