O lady, I swear to you by truth itself: Rāma, turned away from all else by grief for you, is wholly consumed by sorrow—and Lakṣmaṇa too burns with anguish as he sees Rāma overwhelmed.
'O divine lady! I swear to you on my truthfulness, that out of grief for you Rama is not interested in anything else and Lakshmana is deeply afflicted because Rama is overhelmed with grief.
Truthfulness (satya) as Dharma: Hanūmān grounds reassurance in an oath to truth, making speech morally accountable.
Hanūmān reassures Sītā that Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa remain devoted and are suffering because of separation from her.
Hanūmān’s satya (truthful integrity) and the brothers’ unwavering fidelity to Sītā.
